Dr. Sagar Kisan Wadkar

Dr. Sagar Kisan Wadkar, a specialist in social enterprises management and governance frameworks, holds a doctorate in ‘Agricultural Extension Education’. He pioneered India’s first online cooperative extension and advisory portal for empowering cooperative members and general public. A leading policy researcher, Dr. Wadkar drives the growth of cooperatives through evidence-based insights and delivers impactful capacity-building programs for cooperatives, farmer producer companies, SHG federations, and startups. His national research for the Government of India includes ‘agribusiness education’ for the Ministry of Education, ‘an analysis of Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs)’ for the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, and ‘comparative studies on cooperative laws and business entities’ for the Ministry of Cooperation.
